Suzuki violin class - Demonstration of the Suzuki method

Unlike the method employed in normal violin lessons, the Suzuki method involves children aged 5-12 years initially playing without reading music, just as a children first learn to speak their mother tongue and only later learn to read. Learning the violin by trial and error and even with two people on a single violin. The madder the better, that’s this morning’s recipe. The children are keen to share this with you during an interactive demonstration of the Suzuki method, which is how Frederieke Saeijs started to learn the violin!
